Christie Babalis - VP and Corporate Counsel in the ski industry. Christie serves on several nonprofit boards.

Chris Haslock - Olympian, former US Ski Team athlete and coach. Chris is the founder and executive director for Axis Freeride Ski Team (his young athletes cleaned up on the medals at the 2010 and 2011 Junior Olympics - congratulations Chris). Chris was named the USA's 2011 freestyle coach of the year.

Martin Fox - Winner of the outdoor industry's Inspirational Person of the Year Award and named one of the best leadership educators in the country. Educated at Cornell and Columbia, Martin spent the past 21 years building high performing, global companies.

Deogratius Godfrey (CGL Fellow) - Based in Tanzania, Deo is a student at the University of Dar es Salaam and he was recently elected General Secretary of the University's economics association (DUEA), a nongovernmental organization bringing together university students to build capacities required for a competitive labor markets. Originally from a village at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Deo has been a secondary school headmaster, a mentor for the young, and he is also on of our new entrepreneurs.

Alyssa von Puttkammer (CGL Fellow) - Based in Boston, MA, Alyssa is an All-Conference soccer player and pre-med student at Tufts University. In the summer of 2010, Alyssa founded the first female soccer league in the Kilimanjaro region's rural schools, teaching young Tanzanian girls about the importance of teamwork, effective communication, persistence, goal setting, inclusiveness, leadership, confidence, and pushing boundaries. Alyssa won a DoSomething.org Foundation grant award for her soccer program in Tanzania.

Katie Coleman (CGL Fellow) - Based in Park City, Utah, Katie is an All-American lacrosse player and senior at Park City High School. Katie is working with a global water expert on clean water and low cost sewage reclamation systems in Peru. We are thrilled to have her on our team.

Julie Ann Zolfo (CGL Sr. Fellow) - Based in St. Petersburg, Florida, Julie is a Certified Professional Coach, Master Energy Trainer, and Chief Fulfillment Strategist for Energetic Choices.  She is a former internal coach for Deloitte LLP and spent seven years as a Corporate Recruiter within the University Relations/Campus Recruiting teams for Deloitte Consulting, Deloitte Tax, Citigroup and Honeywell International. Ms. Zolfo transitioned into the talent management profession after cultivating her special events, marketing and sales expertise with Turner Broadcasting Sales, PIER 39, USA Hosts,  as well as, operating her own destination management company.  Today, Ms. Zolfo’s passion is to shift ordinary existence into extraordinary living for individuals, professionals and businesses through her coaching, training and speaking engagements.

Martin Fox (CEO) - Based in Park City, Utah,  Martin has spent the past 21 years building high performing, industry-leading organizations. Martin is the recipient of the outdoor industry's Inspirational Person of the Year Award and he has been named one of the best leadership educators in the country. A former Fortune 500 executive educated at Cornell and Columbia, Martin has taught applied leadership, emotional intelligence, and change management courses to students ranging from the ivy league to $1 per day students in the developing world. Martin serves as a Chair for Cornell's Alumni Admissions Network and also as the New Generations Chair for a global Rotary organization on six continents.

On the outdoor side, Martin is a top level ski instructor, heli-ski guide, river guide, kayaker, mountaineer, blue-water sailor, and former NORBA mountain bike racer. Martin has guided internationally since the mid-1980's and he holds advanced certifications in wilderness medicine, swift-water rescue, and avalanche safety.

Scott Hendrickson - Based in Park City, Utah, Scott focuses on the Center's work with private and public high schools in the USA and around the world. He is a former teacher, with significant experience in both public schools systems and private schools in the USA and Europe. Scott has an A.B. in history from Middlebury College, masters degrees from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst and Plymouth State University in NH, and he has also pursued doctoral studies at Rivier College.

One the outdooor side, Scott is a Deer Valley ski instructor, certified Austrian instructor, and a former professional ski patroller. A veteran of student-centered experiential learning, Scott has served as director for the Stratton Wilderness Pursuit Center in VT, director for the Ragged Lake Camp in NH, and, as a teacher, he has led student groups around our planet.

Tim Jones - Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, Tim focuses on the Center's training design and our Utah-based programs. He is a former regional training manager from the financial and communications industries. His MBA with international emphasis directed him toward the cultural and human resources aspects of international finance.

On the outdoor side, Tim is a Deer Valley Resort ski instructor, former children's ski school supervisor, and former director of the Salt Lake City/County Recreational Junior Tennis programs. Tim is a hunter, fisherman, and competitive shooter.
